Audiobook Recorder is built around one promise: your voice stays with you. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no tracking SDKs. We do not collect, transmit or store any personal data on our servers, because no server receives data from the app.
Recordings, scripts and projects
- Everything you record, import or type is stored only on your device, inside the app's own storage.
- Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party. The app does not need an internet connection to record, edit or export.
- Exports are written to the app's folder in the Files app. Sharing them is your choice and happens through the iOS share sheet.
- Deleting a project, or deleting the app, permanently removes its recordings from the device.
Microphone
The app asks for microphone access only so you can record. Audio is captured only while you are recording, in response to you pressing Record. Recording may continue while the screen is locked if you leave a take running.
Subscriptions and payments
Audiobook Recorder Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Purchases, free trials, renewals and cancellations are handled by Apple, and we never see your payment details. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Clean Voice processing
Optional audio cleanup runs entirely on your device. No audio is sent anywhere to be processed.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
