What we receive
- Enquiries: your name, company or project name, email address, project description and indicative budget, together with whether you requested a quote or made an enquiry.
- Correspondence: the information you choose to send when you email us or discuss a project.
- Technical information: requests to the website include an IP address and browser information. Our hosting provider processes technical information to deliver and protect the website. The enquiry endpoint uses a hashed IP address and a request reference for temporary abuse and duplicate checks.
Please avoid including passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in a project description. The website does not take payments or create customer accounts.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to understand your request, communicate with you and prepare a proposal. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, that is our lawful basis. For business enquiries made on behalf of an organisation and general correspondence, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to requests and running our business.
We also have a legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and preventing unwanted or repeated submissions. If a project proceeds, information needed to deliver it is handled under the agreed project arrangements. Some records may also need to be kept to meet legal obligations.
The enquiry form does not subscribe you to a mailing list, make an automated quote or make a decision about you based on your budget.

The website is hosted by Vercel. Enquiries are delivered to contact@cyberphoenixltd.com using Namecheap Private Email. These services process information as part of hosting, security, email delivery and storage. Relevant information may also be handled by business software used to manage correspondence or an agreed project.
Providers may process information outside the UK. Their published privacy and data-processing terms explain their locations and transfer arrangements: Vercel privacy notice and Namecheap privacy policy. Contact us if you need information about the providers involved in your enquiry.
We do not sell enquiry details. Information is shared where needed to handle your request, deliver an agreed service or comply with a legal requirement. Links to product websites and app stores take you to services with their own policies.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept while needed to answer your request, discuss a proposal or manage a resulting project. The relevant criteria are whether the conversation is ongoing, whether a project follows, and whether records are needed for accounting, legal obligations or resolving a dispute. You can ask us about the information held about your enquiry or request its deletion.
Temporary enquiry abuse checks expire after ten minutes; successful-request duplicate checks expire after one hour. These checks use server memory rather than a customer database. Email correspondence and hosting logs have separate retention arrangements.
Browser preferences
Your light or dark preference is saved in local storage under cp_identity_theme_v2. This preference does not contain your name, email or project details and is not used to track you across websites. The short intro plays when the page loads, unless your browser requests reduced motion.
You can remove this preference by clearing this website's browser data. It otherwise remains until changed or cleared. We do not add advertising pixels or analytics scripts to this website. Hosting services may use necessary technical measures for operation and security.
Your choices and rights
Providing enquiry details is optional, but we need enough information to respond and cannot send a reply without an email address. You can email us directly instead of using the form.
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, consent can be withdrawn. These rights have conditions and exceptions.
