Padlog turns photos of your walking pad display into a workout log. It is designed to work without an account and without sending your data anywhere. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Padlog has no account system, no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no tracking SDKs. We do not collect, transmit or store any personal data on our servers, because no server receives data from the app.
Photos and the camera
- Padlog asks for camera access only so you can photograph your walking pad display, and photo library access only when you choose existing photos.
- Photos are read on your iPhone to find the numbers on the display. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
- Padlog does not keep copies of your photos after reading them.
Your workout log
The workouts you save, your weekly step goal, streaks and badges are stored only on your device, inside the app's own storage. You can delete everything from Settings → Delete all Padlog data, or by deleting the app.
Your details and goal
If you choose to enter your weight, height and a goal, they are stored only on your device and used only to calculate calories, steps and your weekly target. They are never sent to us or anyone else. You can change or clear them in Settings.
Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health is optional and off by default. If you turn it on, Padlog reads your step count for the time of a walk so it can show measured steps instead of an estimate, and writes only walking workouts that you have reviewed and confirmed. Health data never leaves your device through Padlog, is not used for advertising, and is not sold or shared with anyone. You can change Padlog's Health access at any time in the Health app or in iPhone Settings.
Children
Padlog is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
